Juneteenth is coming and the Juneteenth Houston Citywide Planning Committee is kicking things off with an exciting happy hour and press event at the Historic Eldorado Ballroom to announce all of the 2025 activations.
Filled with performances from the Ensemble Theatre, the unveiling of the 2025 commemorative logo and Crowns of Liberation public art installation, and meeting local elected officials, this year’s press event will be full of excitement. Attendees will have the opportunity to create quilt panels and patches that pay homage to Houston’s historic Black communities and neighborhoods while enjoying Juneteenth-themed cocktails and lite bites by General Orders No. 3 Vodka and The Rado Market.
